Chris realised his future lay in the field of optimal health after experiencing the benefits of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine first hand as a teenager. He has now been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine for several years. In addition to his acupuncture qualifications he has also been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years in General, Oncology (cancer) and Intensive Care Nursing, so holds a fantastic knowledge of both Eastern and Western Medicine. Chris's specialities in acupuncture include Children and Men's health issues, stress management and supportive cancer care - helping patients cope with side-effects of chemotherapy such as nausea, vomiting and fatigue.

Chris is currently in the process of initiating a pilot study in electroacupuncture for chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting at one of the major hospitals in Brisbane and is in the initial stages of setting up an acupuncture service for cancer patients, in the same hospital.
